So I've got an entry on the front page. On comparing it with my original version, I find that alterations that have been made contain mistakes. If I'd have known that editing was in progress, I'd have kept an eye. What are the criteria for subeditors these days?
(I've left a message on the entry itself .. perhaps someone will rescue my reputation by putting things right.)

Hi Trillian,
If you post to EF - and point out the errors that have crept in, then a curator will make the necessary amendments.
here's the link:

Just make a new conversation at the bottom of the page as normal, and someone will quickly make the alterations!

Thanks, Lanza. I can never remember where to go with that sort of thing. Once I followed the instructions to the letter and my post got yikesed.
I've also discovered that one more small alteration was made in the editing process which I strongly disagree with, but it's not a blatant grammatical, GuideML or spelling mistake.
I was asked why I only linked to the cheese sauce recipe in the footnote, instead of just linking the words "cheese sauce" in the entry. My reply: F15725970?thread=7200679&skip=18&show=1 . This was intentional, because, personally, I don't think the cheese recipe in that link is really suitable for serving with the spƤtzle, and it's not how I would do it, either.

I've removed the link to cheese sauce. Please post your other changes at Feedback / Editorial.
