Today I read that Bruce Willis is coming to Bonn to do a concert with his band. What I wouldn't give to go to that. Bonn's not that far away. But I will be - I'm in Berlin on that day.
Today I got an e-mail that a posting of mine has been yikesed. It makes you feel soiled and defiled. I can't be bothered to find out why. Or who yikesed it. Forget it. I'll pull through it.
Today is my eldest son's girlfriend's birthday. I actually got off work on time to buy her a present. In fact leaving work before it gets dark was quite an achievement.

The yikesing happened to me (on a 360 thread to the then producer of 360, Maggy). I was well miffed and complained. I felt exactly the same way. My post got reinstated pronto.
Pooh to missing the concert!

Sympathy from here. But you've already been to one concert this year that I'd have given my few remaining back teeth for. (Some of my near and dear went to Knebworth - rats!)
I feel similarly protective of my posts and more so of my articles - people changing things is why I don't write full length any more.
Bad couple of days here too - compounded by typhoon, but seems to have sorted itself OK in the end. Hope yours will too.
I was home for the younger son's girlfriend's birthday. We sat on the new garden seat THEY had purchased for ME and drank lots of champagne. My sons have very good taste in women.

You should find out why your posting was yikesed. You will then feel either that the yikesing was justified or that it wasn't. If it was justified, you will feel better knowing that than having a vague feeling that the BBC has done you wrong. If you feel it wasn't justified, you should complain and more than likely your posting will be re-instated.
Key: Complain about this post
