This last week has been extremely busy.

First of all, there was Cabaret, which took up every evening, and some afternoons as well. I played clarinet and tenor saxophone in the orchestra, which was quite hard work but lots of fun. I borrowed the tenor from my brother-in-law and don't really want to have to give it back; it's a lovely instrument. I've got to the point in this pregnancy where large, heavy wind instruments are not very easy to play, so that should make it easier.

Yesterday my family came back from Saudi Arabia for the "Summer". I don't think it's stopped raining since their plane landed. At least it's a bit of a novelty for them at the moment.

I had another driving lesson this morning, so the rain was good for me, anyway. It's nice to get lots of practice in in normal driving conditions. For all my previous lessons it seems to have been abnormally sunny.

I'm 25 weeks pregnant today and everything is still going well.

Hi Bernadette,

I think you had the most recent entry so I thought I'd say hi. I saw your homepage - sad news about the babies, it seems like you're more fortunate this time.

I'm a techie whose stuck in an office waiting for some computer things to finish running and have been surfing around all day it seems. I've bumped into a few pregnant women today which seems a bit weird.

This site is difficult to get to grips with, or is it just me?

Hi Bernadette. I play trombone and a few years ago we did Cabaret at uni. It was great fun. I found playing my 'bone quite difficult towards the end of pregnancy but now Callum likes listening to it. Well, it keeps him amusedsmiley - smiley

Glad to hear it's all going well and that Charlotte is doing OK. I hope your coping OK in this heat.
