the letter µ (mu) is the only Greek letter that the designers of the IBM PC and Windows chose to put in the assorted punctuation and accented characters that are known as "extended characters". In Windows, these occupy the positions 128 to 255 in the chart. They included it because it is needed for the standard metric abbreviation "micro", for such things as µm (micrometre). You can type a mu by holding down Alt, typing 0181 on your numeric keypad, and releasing Alt.

She had a great time. Six days of intensive tuition with about 4 hours each day. The course organisers provided a guided tour of Central Athens and of the suburb where the course was held, and a lunch on one for all participants. We also went out for a few meals with them and one traditional music concert.
I'll try and write a full report of the 10 days when I get a chance.
