My son had three wisdom teeth out recently - it must have been pretty bad, because they had to make a hole right up into his sinuses. He was under strict instructions only to sneeze with his mouth open. This he found very difficult to do.

Has this jaw pain affected you singing or playing any wind instruments, Gnomon?

I haven't been playing any wind instruments recently, but it hasn't affected my singing, thankfully. I'm rehearsing with two different choirs: one is rehearsing Duruflé's Requiem. The other is doing the Monteverdi Vespers. Both challenging works in their own way.

Ouch! I hadn't seen this till now. Glad it's getting better. I had serious tooth problems with no pain at all (except what was actually caused by the dentist, briefly). That was odd.

Oh, I shouldn't complain about my teeth. It's now 10 days ago and the pain is almost gone. I'm sure there are people much worse off than me. But it's nice to have somewhere I can grumble, when I need to.
