The last of the little 
have gone now. The doorbell only rang about 6 times with 2 or 3 there each time. We had a nurse, a witch, Fireman Sam, and a number of ghoulish creatures. We gave them a fair selection of marshmallows, sweets and nuts.
My skeleton in the porch still impresses the little ones as he has done for ten or possibly twenty years (he's full size, anatomically perfect and made of cardboard).
We missed Hallowe'en for the last two years by being away, so my own girls are three years older now. For the first time, they didn't dress up and go round looking for nuts.
