The October Long Weekend is almost upon us. Monday is a day off. Mrs G and I will drive down to Wexford on Sunday afternoon and go to the Opera in the new Wexford Opera House with Azara and a friend of hers(it's a year old now, but that's still 'new'). Then we'll go out to dinner. On Monday morning we've tickets for a choral concert in a church. We'll come home on Monday afternoon. The daughters can look after themselves.

Sure that's nothing, the 'new castle' on the Tyne was built in 1080 . . .
