She has to pass her exams first. SHe starts them in about two weeks' time. If she does well enough, she'll go on to study Irish and Music in Trinity College, Dublin. At least, that's her current number one choice. To get into it, she needs to get an average of 85% in the best six of her eight subjects, which is not easy. If she doesn't achieve this level, she'll probably study a degree in music in the DIT Conservatory of Music. Either way, it'll be another three or four years of study. Then she'll be on the dole.

On the dole she will never be. I'll lay mighty odds on that.
But the TCD music school is such a basket case I think she would get a better education and a better student experience at DIT. Sad for me, a TCD music graduate, to say that A2116739
