Gnomon - time to move on Started conversation Nov 24, 2004
Today's a good day for me with regard to the Edited Guide:
I wrote almost all of "The Isle of Man" which is on the Front Page.
I contributed a small amount to "Wandering Noon" so I'm listed as one of the authors. It's on the Front Page as well.
The Front Page also has a link to my "Made in Heaven" entry, which I wrote a few years ago.
My "Seattle" entry is still listed in the "Recently Updated" section.
I've had 98 Solo Edited Entries, and two more in a "Pending" state, so it shouldn't be too long now until I reach 100 Edited Entries.

I'll put the in the fridge...
Just make sure your 100th entry doesn't appear tomorrow or you won't be allowed to drink it

That's great news! Looks like we have a celebration on the way! Also, I thought you were the main inspiration behind the Wandering Moon entry, so full credit to you there also.

Crap. Wrong thread. I meant:
You're catching the Yanks and Scots up then. It's going to be embarassing if the last nationality to reach the ton is English...

Crap - looks like a morning for typos - I meant "Wandering Noon" - an entry on a Wandering Moon would be a bit obvious, I would have thought

Kerr Bluebottle has already ahd the first ton for the English. It's the Welsh we need to encourage.
Are there enough articles on leeks and sheep for them to get to it.

Congratulations.
I hope people appreciate what an amazing feat this is. Even if I got round to writing up all the ideas for entries I had, I wouldn't have 100 ideas to use - and certainly not enough knowledge to fill them. A lot of research would be involved.
So - I am in awe and congratulate you most heartily.

Blue Bottle got to the 100 by publishing 50 entries about ruined castles of Yorkshire.

And I don't think Demon Drawer is a Scot, except in the original sense of the word: someone from Northern Ireland.

Actually you are right - I've never seen a more inappropriate picture - that's Io, and the planet behind it is Jupiter. Maybe it's an allegory for your achievement compared to the rest of us! I second your sentiments TC.

BB made the ton on 30/07/04
Gnomon I'll dedicate my second 100 to the Scots. They might not get there before I do.
