Hey, Blues Shark...
Once upon a time I was known as Researcher Eagle 1; it looks as though I can't find any of my old login info, so I thought I'd lave this message for you under a new guise.
I want to give you a proper congratulations for the Seattle Seahawks winning the NFC crown and moving onto Super Bowl XL; may they have better luck than the Eagles did last year. *Sigh*
I haven't decided if I'm going to hang around yet, but since I thought about you while watching the celebration yesterday, I wanted to say hi.

Hey man! What a very pleasant surprise to hear from you. 
I'm of course delighted that the Hawks are in the Big One (despite being the most hated team in the US media, it seems), though I am now in a bit of a quandry.
I've watched virtually nothing of this season live, not having the right comms gear to do so. The result is that Hass and SA have played beautifully all season. The one game I watched live was the *stinker* of a performance against the Redskins - let's face it, we only won because they played worse than us.
So do I watch XL live or not? 
Of course I'm going to, and to be honest if we lose to Bill Cowher and the Steelers I'm not going to fret too much. Both he and they are a class act.
May the best men win!

I was pulling for your guys, I really was. But if it's any help, I understand how you might feel.
At least they got a team trophy of some kind, even if it's conference Champs... maybe next year?

Who knows, dude, who knows.
Not a vintage night for the boys, but the officiating didn't help. Oh well.
If it had been any other team but the Hawks, I would have been pulling for Rooney and Cowher, who i think are a pair of class acts.
