Only found this thing yesterday, and I've already spent an unholy amount of time browsing through and discovering the wonders of it. had a go at my first entry as well, to share my hard gained experience of the Aussie outback. Any constructive criticism would be much appreciated. Or just random abuse if that's all you can muster.

Ah! Contact! No, haven't been on the site for ages, but I'm back (kind of). I got disenchanted with this 'web community' idea for a bit, but my enthusiasm has been restored. Been back to Oz another couple of times though, plenty more driving! Went right up to Cape York in the NE and played tag with the crocodiles.

I was a bit disillusioned too at first, but it grows on you. Click on Who's online? and click on any nickname that takes your fancy. You will soon find people with similar interests, among the crazy pages, and ignore the lifeless ones. You can soon tell. Look out for Frenchbean - she's off to Oz in 2005.

I have made use of it to follow the Save the Albatross voyage, and to encourage people to sign the Save the Albatross Petition, and I have regular contact now with several researchers.

If you have been anywhere coastal in Australia I imagine you would be aware of the plight of the Albatross from illegal longline fishing. If not, and you are interested take a look at my space or put Save the Albatross into Google to find out more.

I will look at your site and other items when I have a bit more time. Things are hectic here at the moment but I am hoping to have a bit more time to spare soon, for a while at least.

By the way, playing tag with crocodiles doesn't sound like a very good idea Having watched Steve Irwin with them, I would leave well alone!!
