Thanks for your message. Yes its a bit daunting sitting here and looking at all this.
I do have one question though. Is there any offline GuideML writers that are a bit more friendly than just constant pushing the shift key and typing tags?

As far as I know, you can only write GuideML using the interface h2g2 provides, unless you want to use a text editor and copy/paste the code. A GuideML editor would be nice though. Somebody should really make one...

I speell( I mean spell) really badly, so for me it would be good to be able to create my entries offline, spell check and grammr check them and then post them. The sort of thing I was thinking was a WYSIWIG word processor that actually produced GUIDEML in the background.
Well if there isn't one how would we go about getting someone to write one. Any suggestions?
I was thinking about the kind of open source development exchange type ideas that are used to get Linux drivers and the like created. What happens there is that everyone who would like the thing group together to get it developed. Its like an auction, first developer back with a soultuion gets the cash. In our case we don't have any cash so the insentive would need to be a little less tangiable.
Just some thoughts.

You could always use a WYSIWYG HTML editor, and post your entries in HTML. Or write out the text in a word processor, spell check, and then fill it with GuideML tags.
Don't worry, a lot of us can't spel.

And of course, there is always the preview button, which allows you to see what you created, and which also tells you where (if any) your errors are. It's quite useful .
