Here I sit, typing a journal entry instead of doing my French homework... We have to make a mobile. A MOBILE! In French class! --Huh?!-- Hanging from it have to be five placards with at least five French sentences each, regarding various aspects of our lives. That part is fine- we might, perish the thought- actually LEARN something from writing sentences, but making it into a mobile? It's ludicrous; just busy work. It has to be "creative and show time, thought, and effort." So, I'm wasting my Sunday evening coloring notecards instead of doing something constructive like writing an award-winning story, which I could probably do if I had the time to do it in, or drawing morbid illustrations to morbid poetry, or watching The Simpsons, or SOMETHING- but no, I'm making a mobile.
