I'm incredibly impressed too!
I would like to suggest a little alteration.
You said "Turku, the capital of Finland", which would be more accurate as "...the then capital of Finland".
Also, perhaps you'd like to link Turku to A514630 to save the editors the trouble when this article gets edited, as it surely will!

I'm still very far from finishing this entry - every time I start looking through the huge pile of info I've printed out I'm completely overwhelmed by the subject...
I need to choose which details to focus on - when I find the time...
