Do you know the Percy the Park Keeper books? He lives the life you describe! http://img.tesco.com/pi/entertainment/DVD/LF/543192_DV_L_F.jpg

Dear MabelJane,
I have noticed these books but have never read them(they were not available when my daughter was tiny). Thank goodness that I am not the only one who wants to live with the moles and crickets and bats !!

Baileys is my daughter's favourite tipple(or it was before she met her husband-now it seems to be Champagne!!). You have just reminded me-I opened a bottle of very decent red wine earlier this evening. I had half a glass then came onto the computer. Time, instead, for a quick cup of redbush !!
Sweet dreams of hoglets MJ.

Dear lovable, cute, wonderful, enchanting, mind-boggling Andy AND MabelJane,
Wookie is becoming very jealous that I am turning my attentions to younger creatures. He has batted the alarm clock off my bedside table in demonstration. Please supply him with more meeces in order for me to have some peace at night.
