The two presently available (10/00) are not representative at all. Nice graphics in and of themselves, but they do not evoke Africa.

The variety and interesting images found under Pictures:Asia is the exact kind of thing that should be found under Pictures: Africa. If no one else is interested, I'm willing to learn how to go about it and spice up the category.

While I agree that Africa is as of yet under-represented in our image gallery, please bear in mind that us wee artists illustrate articles which are selected for feature on the front page...so representation of categories in the image gallery is entirely down to articles which make their way to us. If you would like to see more pictures in the africa gallery then might I suggest you write some great articles on Africa, submit them and hope they make their way through to the artists for illustration.
