To Whom It May Concern:

I write to thank you for the service you so falsely advertise to be every 10 minutes, namely the Link bus.
Every day this week I have waited far more than 20 minutes for a bus, yesterday it was 40. Given that I catch the bus at what is probably a peak time (8-8.30 am), I would think that it would be in your company's interests to organise things so that Auckland's worker drones might get to work on time. The prospects of being late to work every single day are going to do nothing to persuade people to use public transport.
Today there was an excuse for the lateness (the Taxi strike), but that did not assuage the frustration of my fellow passengers who were in some cases more than thirty minutes late getting wherever it was they were going - particularly when 3 buses turned up at the same time after another forty minute wait.
I am not sure if the cause of these disappointing failures is incompetence, disorganisation or some other dark secret, but I suggest you find a scapegoat, fire them and then fix the problem.
Alternatively, adjust your advertising to reflect the hourly Link service you are in fact providing.
Thanks for the motivation for fixing my scooter so I don't have to worry about being late for work anymore.

Hmm, in looking through your journal I find this entry, and after reading it, I would have to agree with you. With the what you said int he letter and your subject.

I'd had a bad day.

Whoever got the letter probably did too, I suppose, but there you go. I like to share. I'm a real Snag!!
