Wild rodents

As I was dozing off last night, I heard the miniblinds being pulled up, then back down, and windows rattling, then opening. This is coming from the room adjacent to our bedroom, which is where the squirrels have made their home. I listened groggily for a minute or two, then Amanda walked out. She said she'd heard a window break and wanted to check on the car.
I thought the squirrels were breaking in. But I was half asleep, so I guess it's understandable. We haven't opened the window to check on their nest, but we can see leaves and grass out on the windowsill, so it's probably quite comfortable out there.
Aside from the fact that the humidity was 90% yesterday. It was bad enough wearing light summer clothes last night--I can only imagine what it's like when you've got a fuzzy coat of fur.
