h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I would be grateful if someone would please read http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A478307, and give me some sort of feedback on it. Please?

Its certainly an interesting read, but I feel it wouldn't get into the edited guide as it stands for a number of reasons:

1) It is actually a journal entry, rather than a stand-alone article.

2) There is swearing in it. The new h2g2/bbc rules mean that this will be moderated.

3) It is written from a rather personal viewpoint, instead of being a factual piece. This doesn't detract from it, but it does mean that it will probably be less likely to be picked for the editing.

4) The title 'Improving your life' is a bit misleading - a better title could be something like 'How to cope with people you dislike - a personal view'. As you can see, snappy titles aren't my forte

Hope this is useful. Oh, the other thing that you need to take into account is that the rules governing the format of new posts to the Peer Review thread are very tight (because otherwise it gets very confusing for us Scouts). You need to put the Article number followed by the title of the article in the name of the thread, which in your case would be: 'A478307 - Improving your life'. In the meantime, this particular thread will probably end up in the sin bin. PR threads which aren't in the correct format through the whole well-oiled machine into a bit of a mess otherwise, so it's important to get this right.
