Music and Leaking Radiators

Given that the car is suffering from some mechanical issues I find my self at a loose end tonight so I am listening to some music and as I have unexpected time on my hands I thought it would be rude not to post - so here I am and guess what? I'm going to share some of my favourite music web-sites with you (gosh, aren't you all ever so lucky?).
http://www.Last.FM gives lots of stats, has a pretty good recommendation system and a great community. This is probably my favourite music site, my page is at http://www.last.fm/user/happydufus/.
http://www.Musicovery.com has to be the prettiest music web site, it uses a mood based system to play music from a wide selection of genres - well worth a visit.
http://concerts.wolfgangsvault.com/ streams a wild selection of free concert recordings from the last 3.5 (or so) decades - I listened to http://concerts.wolfgangsvault.com/dt/rick-springfield-concert/20050821-5894.html today, much to my embarrassment I felt compelled to give it a five star rating.
And finally a quick mention for the BBC Listen Again pages - worth it if only for Bob Harris, Sean Rowley and Friday Night is Music Night.

Musicovery is
I never think much about listening to music on the laptop until someone introduces me to websites like that

Musicovery
Didn't know that one.
Of course my inner librarian makes http://rateyourmusic.com one of *my* favourite music sites even if it has no (well, not much) music to listen to.

two happy customers - makes it all worthwhile
as to Musicovery, it is strange that pretty graphics can make an audio site so much fun
and as Ottox has raised the spectre of non-music music sites I do seem to mess around on musicbrainz.org quite a bit.

Cricket? I still have most of my knowledge of that game from Life, the Universe and Everything and therefore find listening to it "grotesquely bad taste".

Don't know what your missing, TMS is the finest sports commentary you will find anywhere (play currently stopped for tea) -

You're right again and as I can't get to see that pretty scoreboard anyway ("Available to UK broadband users only") I won't try to find out either. But tea, now that is a good idea!

I used to watch music channels on TV a few years ago when my daughter had them on.
Which reminds me - why are they still saved in favourites?
