A couple of articles have caught my eye recently and I thought some of you might be interested in them so here goes...
A post over at /. is linking several reports on how the United Kingdom is turning into a surveillance society (the largest density of CCTV cameras in the world, and an increasing network of automatic number-plate recognition cameras and now 439,000 telephones and email addresses monitored in a 15 month period between 2005 and 2006. Not to mention the Interception of Communications Commissioner is seeking the right for security agencies to be allowed to monitor the communications of Members of Parliament.
