Sheet music off the net

Hi there,
I have a daughter who plays the flute, guitar and keyboard, the last two she has only just started, the flute she has been playing for about 18 months.
My question is does any one know of any sites where we could down load free sheet music for the above instruments?
Regards

Does she play classical guitar? If not, there are a lot of sites offering guitar chords or even tablature for various pop songs.
I do know that there is some sheet music on the internet but it tends to be of the very old variety (in order to be out of copyright!) and previously I've come across it on other people's sites by looking up particular pieces, composers or styles. There's one archive/museum-type site in particular in the US which is trying to come to mind, but I suspect I'll only remember it again if I see it on a search.
That would cover keyboard music. Whereas, "flute" music would be almost any soprano line of anything. I can even refer you to the ridiculously simple stuff I put on this site (on the ptop sub-site) for that. It's compatible with much more primitive instruments than a flute A1099901.

Here are a couple of US university sites with sheet music (re-found by a search for "rag-time" though a specific composer should also do). However, much of this stuff could well be too hard for a beginner (grade 5 piano is more the sort of level for springing off into completely unknown territory):

If you know what level of music you want, I can create some and put it somewhere you can get it and print it. I don't have completely unlimited time available though.

Of course, if you have even a half-way decent library near you, you'll be able to borrow sheet music absolutely free for a number of weeks. So you can work out what sort of level and style you want. They'll also have modern stuff such as musicals or pop songs in score or piano form and might possibly have instrument tutorial books too.

For the guitar, if you want to use tabs (which is much easier) there is a huge repository of user archived tabs at http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/ though obviously they are of varied quality and mostly cover popular music.

O and for guitar scales try specifically:
http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/m/misc_scales/essential_scales_tab.htm
You can print that off notepad or soemthing similar, very simple.
