Hi GD - haven't been around on these boards much over the last few months (had a bit of personal stuff going on!) - was really sad when I came back and saw your message on your Myspace to say you were leaving the boards Not sure if you ever have a look in from time to time, but if you do, all the best to you . How is your back doing lately? You seemed to be suffering quite badly with that when I spoke to you last - hope it has improved - I know how depressing it can get!
Anyway, best of luck again

Hiya,
I just got fed up of all the arguing and wind-up merchants on the board. Life's too short for all that crap.
Anyhoo, onto bigger and better news. Here's a pic of Isabelle. Born last week 7lb 14.

More soon

Great to hear from you GD!
Sounds like things are going great for you now Lovely photo!!
I tend to avoid getting into arguments now - just post for a bit of fun and company. Have learnt to just ignore people if they are being awkward - shame there doesn't seem to be the Webcountry/Inoldbidabli-type characters around any more - used to be such fun winding *them* up!
Seeya!

Hi GD - thought I would continue the conversation on here .... apologies for not getting back sooner, but have been busy with a few personal things (have recently separated, and have just sold our house, etc) - wanted to take a bit of time out to sit and write you a few lines, rather than just post a quick reply inbetween everything else!
Sounds like you have quite a lot on your plate at the moment, some of it obviously joyous, but sounds like a fair bit of difficult stuff thrown in too. Your course sounds quite intensive and seems to have been quite a long one - what have you been studying? (and oh, what a pain to have lost all that stuff!) Did you actually have a job lined up that all this training was for? (And was the training a government/’New Deal’ type thing?)
How are you managing with your back? Think you said last time we spoke that you had had an MRI scan for (yet another!) operation … that was some time ago – did you have to go through that again, or did you manage to get some other course of treatment? I’m guessing it must be a fair bit better now, anyway, with all the things you are doing at the moment! Really admire you for aiming to get back into the work place after all that time of having to be off with your back – I need to find something soon – haven’t worked for about 12 years now (most of that because of ‘back’) and it’s a pretty scary thought! Will be good in a way though, because it can be so isolating to be out of work.
Anyway, all the best to you GD
