In truth, they tried to follow orders, but because the sun was so hot most of them passed out and had to be rushed to the hospital, where they were promptly put in bed and re-hydrated.
While in bed, they are facing up.
The sergeant was court-martialed for forcing his troops to endure such unbearable circumstances, and was given a dishonorably discharge and a day-old doughnut.

In what armed service do they say 'Right TURN', or 'about TURN'?? Shouldn't it be 'Right FACE, about FACE' ? But as for the answer, East is correct
