Yay indeed!

That must mean you can see my space even though I can't! I'll stop worrying about being an anonymous contributor and start answering your questions!

I didn't know anyone was back - I only came back today because my hubby had put a link to h2 on his computer, whereas I'd removed all of my h2 bookmarks... having seen your page today, I thought I'd come and say hello! Glad he is, though - the MSN GTDNSIN was a very useful survivors' guide!

Cardboard boxes are happily in attic and garage now - we've been here for an amazing six months and are surprised at how much we (probably the most anti-DIY pair in the UK) have achieved... Although actually, we did a minimal amount and have mainly had professionals do it for us (new kitchen, removal of a stud partition wall, etc etc etc).

And as for my health, I'm fine but being attacked - not from my other half, but from the little life I'm growing inside! Hence the nickname. We're absolutely delighted and are now sharing one study as I've sacrificed my old study for the child's nursery (um, well, it's got loads of boxes at the moment, but it will be comfortable by July!)

It's lovely to talk to you and hear from you again!

Ben - just to let you know that the Twitchy Child has been ejected from Baby Driver We're so happy!

Elizabeth (Beth) was born on 23 July at 1:07am, and was very big (9lbs 9oz!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Mother, Father & Happy Child all doing well

Oh wonderful. I was just beginning the long slow process of thinking about sending an email to you to ask.

I AM so pleased for you all. (I have had a soft-spot for Mr Baby Driver for years now - he is a man who knows when to laugh at the right moment, and that is rare!).

Beth is a lovely name. (It is by far the nicest fo the things think they have heard when I say my name is "Ben", and in fact it's a name I use when I don't want any gender-confusion).

9lb 9 is Huge. I want to ask all sorts of deeply personal questions about stitches and things but this is not the forum. ;-=)

Did you ever email me? I had a pretty major crash, followed by a complete rebuild of my pc (my darling H has now built his own computer from scratch, and given me his cast-off) so I'm a bit lost and needing to catch up!

Just to let you know I'm now Dorothy, which is a lot easier to type than Baby Driver. So called because the 5 week old Bubba is known as Mini-Munchkin. I'd like to say she's SO CUTE! Plus, if you email me, I can send you a URL with her pics, if you're interested (I never get tired of showing her off) and can answer all your personal and intimate questions!
