i really enjoyed your entry 'the romantic novels of Georgette Heyer' She is one of my favourite authors and i'm glad to meet another fan.
A bit about myself: I'm a 30 yr. female from Karachi and reading is my chief (only) hobby. And I'm really happy to have found this site, though i'm still finding my way around here.

I am very glad you like that entry, and welcome to h2g2. I wrote it when I was working in Germany, one night at about 3.00am when I couldn't sleep. And then I had lots of fun checking the names and the titles and the sub-plots.

H2G2 is a good place - full of interesting writing and even more interesting people. In fact it is the people that keep me coming back.

Blimey! I am used to the idea that people see my stuff for a couple of days here, when it appears on the Front Page. But to have someone else post a link to your Yahoo page!

I mean that it is the Real Internet - outside h2g2 altogether!

I do suggest that you click the 'Edit Page' Button which is probably to the right of your home page here. Type in something - anything! - and save it. That will activate the page itself, and will mean that people can drop by your home space and chat directly to you. We are a friendly bunch, and someone will probably be by with a list of links and other useful information fairly soon.

As I said - take time to explore h2g2, it is a wondrous place.
