My persona within the SCA has just proposed to my Lady's persona. She accepted! Since she is old (almost 18) and no longer a maiden, I payed her family 50 pieces of gold-covered-chocolate. She is worth much more, but we can count that against the dowry. The next step is to secure a celtic wedding ring in the correct size. I had an easier time with the Holy Grail.

Congrats on the marriage. You should attempt to fashion the ring yourself. Contact a metalsmith in your area (if you dont know where one is already) and ask him to help you with it - I'm sure he'd be more than willing. Let me know how it goes. Good luck!

I found it! I know someone who had a ring that was much too big for her, but the right sise for Katie. The ring I could find was much too small for Katie. A simple trade and everyone was happy.
