Spaniards Inn Errors

I'd like to correct a couple of rather major errors in the article about the Spaniards Inn.
1) Richard Turpin was NOT born at the Inn, not even in Middlesex (Hampstead wasn't in a part of London at the time) he was born in Hempstead in Essex, son of a John Turpin. John Turpin also was never the Keeper of the Spaniards but the Blue Bell Inn in Hempstead Essex, possibly where Richard was born, he was baptised in Hempstead on the 21st September 1706.

2) The 'Out Building' was actually the Toll House, it is still there not "to the chagrin of the residents" but because the local people campaigned, back in the early 1960s, to keep it there, as it would have turned the widened road "into a race track."

John Turpin was the Keeper of the Crown Inn in Hempstead Essex. This pub has changed it's name several times including, the Rose & Crown, the Bell & Crown, the Bell and currently the Bluebell Inn
