The stuff of science before it had honestly got a grip of itself. The non-starter of 17th century science finds reference today but little more considering people believed in it for more than 100 years!

An excellent article, and definitely Guide worthy. I do have one thing to offer... there's an edited guide entry on Dungeons and Dragons you might link, since you already linked the one on role-playing: http://www.h2g2.com/A209062

Thanks for the feedback. I've tagged the entry mentioned. Guess I missed that one when I went searching for official references.

Well, I only knew about it because I wrote it. smiley - winkeye

Anyway, I've recently volunteered for the role of a Scout, and this will be one of the first articles I recommend to the Towers, once they manage to finish off the old queue and get everything organized for the new system. Good job once again. smiley - smiley

Hi there.

A very good entry, I certainly recommend it.

One suggestion: I always find it useful if the first sentence is a short summary of the subject (especially if it is such an unusual & new one).

For my own interest: were there any other prominent scientists supporting the theory?

thanks
