Monday
This monday morning began all wrong. I got on the bus about the right time and discovered that the busgirl was not present. She's not always present, but when she is, it's always a pleasure. One might say we have fallen in love in a very platonic, time/place reliant way. Anyways. She was not there, but a friend of mine was. A nice fellow, only he is studying to become a nurse. Nothing bad about nurses or students or nursingstudents, but this guy told me something I didn't want to know. Now I that I do know it, I'm going to share it with those of you who didn't know.
When you suffer from that disease that eats a hole through the protective layer of goo around your brain (my kingdom for a dictionary), it's not stiff muscles that make you unable to bend your neck. It's puss from the brain.
He told me that on a monday morning. I hadn't even had my first cup of coffee. What kind of a friend is that?
