US Government Problems

The US Government has already denied rights to blacks and women. They both fought for their rights and got them. However, everyone under the age of 18 does not have many rights at all! From ages 18-20 you still do not have all your rights. I think that we should all try and do something about this. They could at least lower the age to something more reasonable. The age when kids start to want to make their own decisions aka the teen years. Also, my father has let me drink beer if i wanted to. He treats me as an adult and it has been that way for a long time. I have never abused alcohol or drugs. If we were treated as adults with the same rights then we would all behave better. The reason we go against the law is because we want to be treated as adults. If we were treated as adults it would most likely decrease crime due to teenagers. Another thing is LEGALIZE MARIJUANA! I don't use it, but if it was legal then I believe so many people wouldnt care about it. Legalization of it would most likely DECREASE the usage of it. I may only be 16 but I know what I am talking about.

I have something to add to my last journal entry. If people want to screw up their lives with drugs then they should be able to. The only way we can stop the usage of drugs is by having every country stop making drugs or growing drugs. This could be a problem considering chocolate and coccaine comes from the same tree.
