I wrote an article about what dancing the tango means, to me at least. Argentine Tango's one of my passions. Flamenco seems to be one of yours. From the way you describe it, it sounds like either: Flamenco is Tango for the single person, or, Tango is Flamenco for couples. They both can be vehicles for all the emotions you spoke of, particularly the darker ones. I'm sure that if I dug around into the development of Tango, I'd discover Flamenco influences.
Thank you for your kind invitation. I'm a little confused as to what exactly you're looking for though in terms of Guest Artists. Would you be kind enough to expound a bit more?
