The Tyranny of Good Intentions

I read this book yesterday and would recommend it to anyone who wanted to know the current state of affairs concerning the American legal system. Much of what the book details would disturb most free minded individuals. Don't let the review on the back cover by G. Gordon Liddy throw you. This book makes clear that government oppression is not a right-left issue, but rather a universal evil that should be resisted by all free people. The book gives a brief history of the evolution of rights in an English speaking society and how those right are being suborned. With plenty of case examples and small details this book is a great though alarming weekend read.
When rights are subordinated to government power, the first steps toward tyranny are taken.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
