I've never heard of it. Is it in England, or Germany, or?
It would have been nice if this article were edited.

Hello,
My name is Eberhardt and I am living in Germany.
Today, Teck is a castle in the southwest of Germany, close to Stuttgart. It used to be the domicile of the dukes of Teck in the mid-age. Unfortunately I don't know any exact dates.
I found an article on why the name was changed during World War I:
'Because George worried that the British people might extend their loathing for their German enemy to the British royal family (who were then called Saxe-Coburg-Gotha from Queen Victoria's marriage to Albert of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, the Prince Consort), the family name was changed to Windsor. The British people heartily approved of this switch to a purely English name.'
Kind regards,
Eberhardt
