Hawaiian healing

Post 1

I suppose I should `come out' as someone who is passionate about learning new languages (new to me, that is.)

I know from experience that whatever you think in can change your world-view in a radical way.

Recently I started looking at Hawaiian, because I love the sounds, and the fact that it uses phonemes to indicate meaning as well as sound.

In `Aloha' (a cross between welcome and hello), `HA' indicates the heart.
`Mahalo' is thank you - again, from the heart.

I'm going to write more about this, at some stage. Still early days, trying to absorb the feelings of words.

I also want to recommend the site www.huna.org
as it talks about a form of healing, which is spiritual in feeling, but takes you into different realms of thinking (assuming you want to do that???)

Aloha, mahalo!

(and `thanks for all the fish') -

Lis
