i've just been to a site I'm a member of - I'm Goldylocks there - to look about opportunities for volunteering abroad (without handing over large amounts of money, at the same time.)
It's good because the post-ers seem genuine, there are a fair few travelogs, but also comments on favourite films, `the state we're in' as a planet, and ways of volunteering online ( eg copywriting, doing publicity, or just being friendly.)
I hope they do well.
