Why do people make such a big deal about adoption? Children are always trying to find their birth parents, and 8 times out of 10, or probably an even higher number, are disappointed.
Why not just realise that the people who raise you are your parents. Even if they did a bad job, you can't trade them in for an egg or sperm donor.
I found this out for myself.
Trust me you don't need the heartache.
I used to watch a lot of talk shows on T.V. And they had a lot of shows on reuniting families. They, more times than not, have some middle aged woman or man on who wants to blame their whole lives on the mother who gave them up. Why can't people learn to take reponsibility for their own happiness? Once you become an adult it's up to yourself to accomplish and be what you want in life.
And if people want to blame someone they should look at themselves in a mirror.

That's a cool way of looking at it. Everyone is responsible for their own destiny. Someone always has to blame everyone else, but themselves, even if they are the ones who really did all the F###ups. If ya don't like it you can always move some rocks again and again
