Hi there, what_is_life! I see that you're new around here, welcome!
One thing I always suggest to people who want to become scouts that they spend some time in Peer Review -- reading the entries, giving some helpful feedback, and seeing how the Scouts are operating. I think this is especially useful if you are new, because it gives you a better idea of what being a scout is all about. It also has the side benefits of:
