A Conversation for Volunteer to be a Scout
I'd like to volunteer

...mainly because I enjoy writing (and I think I'm quite good at it), but generally don't have enough time to do it. So, at the very least, I could offer my services as a Scout. I know there's a waiting list, but this doesn't bother me.

Thank you. I've yet to steal a piano in reality, but there's probably more chance of me doing that than playing one like my almost-namesake. I gather you like jazz too, and that you play the bass guitar like a demon.

Sorry about confusing the instruments, there. But you must be better than me on the piano ('Van Gogh's ear for music', as I have been unkindly, but accurately, described). Is there an H2G2 Jazz Club? We should start one. Preferably on a Sunday lunchtime. Nice!
