I um... kinda went out to a very long lunch in which I went mad and months later found myself lying on a bus stop bench. In between that... I dunno, I imagined I was a sandwich, but after being eaten twice I was bored with the concept and started talking to people's lawns. Either way, in my absence I lost my scouthood and would like to be reinstated if possible. I've changed my nickname since then, but if needed here is my old information:

Hi Trigger,
Aha - I was wondering where you'd got to! Although I'm not completely convinved your explanation is 100% true...
We've got a bit of a waiting list for Scouting at the moment, and I'm afraid I'll have to add you back to the end of it again.
BTW, are you sure you want to be posting your email here on-site? It'll be up for ever, and you never know who might see it - especially Search Engine spiders... Let me know if you'd like it taken out and I'll do it for you.

Yeah, hey... taking off my new email address would be great... I don't really care about the old one though. Thanks a lot. Umm... seeing as how I'm now at the end of the waiting list... how long's it gonna take before the kindly scouting gods find my name and reinstate me? Thanks again.

The length of the waiting list all depends on Scout movements in the meantime... Don't worry - I'll let you know when we need you.

I guess the bigger question would be... how will I be notified? Email, posting...? Thanks a lot

Ummm... forgive my impatience... but it has been a rather long time. Is there any idea how long the waiting list is now and how long I may expect to be on it? Thank you very much.

Actually, you're right at the top of the lst at the moment (I recruited a few just before you posted).
Patience, patience - a week or two, I think.

Sorry to be impatient again, but it has been two months already since the last post I made. I was just wondering what's going on. Thank's a lot.

Trigger - Chris is no longer at the Towers. If you still want to be a Scout again, I'll send a link off to the forum for the team to take a look at. Just reply if you'd like me to!

So how are things going? I'm still waiting for news on becoming a scout. Did I make some kind of really bad impression or something? Thank's a lot .

No - I'm sure it's all fine. It's just that Chris has moved on and Linda's back. I'll drop her a line and see where you stand.

I'll get it sorted out - although I've heard there's a queue, but I will do my best. I've sent Linda a message asking her to look at this thread...

Hi Trigger,
I'm really sorry you seem to have been overlooked. I've had a look at my records, and it looks like I sent you an email inviting you to be a Scout on 14 March. I would have sent it to the email in your preferences. Have I got the right one? Or did it just not work? It would be great if you would still like to be a Scout - have you been spending time in Peer Review?

Really sorry about that. I can't remember which bloody address I have in my preferences. I'll check them all... thank you. If I don't find anything, I'll contact (complain?) again.
Most sincere thanks,
Trigger
