I used to enjoy this show on a Saturday night smiley - ok Jimmy was my favourite character smiley - biggrin Good Entry - a great trip down memory lane!

The structure of the Entry is a bit odd, in my opinion - first of all you talk about everything except the series in the title... Perhaps starting with The New Adventures section and moving the other sections further down would help - I think the information about other series would fit better just before the Reasons for Success section.

Hi <BB<

I haven't got very far but this jumped out at me:

*By the end of series 3, Jor-El provides another message, informing his son that he is in fact a married man, and is played by François Giroday.* I'm not clear on who is played by François Girodaysmiley - erm

smiley - heroI'm afraid I now have to go but (Arnie voice) I'll be backsmiley - run

Hi again <BB< sorry I had to smiley - run

*Teri Hatcher is only the fourth Lois Lane, following:* you then list 7 actresses. It would be better to changed the Lois Lane title to match *Dean Cain is the sixth, to date, of nine actors to substantially play Superman on film or television:*

Your header *Supermen and Lovely Loises* - that does sound sexist - if you're going to describe Lois as lovely then Superman needs to be "Muscly", "Gorgeous", "Sexy" or somesuchsmiley - erm and I could be wrong but I suspect multiple Lois Lanes would be Lois'

I didn't see all of these episodes, just if they were on and I happened to be sat in front of the tv! But I do have one abiding memory of when his powers were switched to her, and she appeared in a *cough* skintight suit which was, er, pretty fetching. I think she named herself Ultrawoman. Is she worth a mention? http://images.fanpop.com/images/image_uploads/Lois-and-Clark-lois-and-clark-181038_211_324.jpg

Hello both smiley - smiley

smiley - modI've moved the order around a little, to put the other sections near the end as suggested.
smiley - modI've clarified that François Giroday plays Jor-El briefly.
smiley - modThe Lois Lane & Lovely Loiseseses has been rewritten.
smiley - modA section on Kryptonite has been added, leading to a bit on Memorable Adventures which mentions Lois Lane becoming Ultra Woman through Red Kryptonite exposure. An adventure that I remember very fondly...

I read the sentence about Jack, and had to read it again - I presume Jack is the one who was employed at the Daily Planet, not his brother.

Should the heading 'Supermen and Lois Lane' be 'Supermen and Lois Lanes'?

For me, Dean Cain made an excellent Superman (although Christopher Reeve is the definitive smiley - hero ) but Teri Hatcher wasn't my cup of tea... Amy Adams, though... smiley - blush (not a 20th Century Lois, though, so that's fine).

You noticed that I said '20th Century' then? I too look forward to seeing more of Amy Adams in hopefully a few films...

I've reworded those bits as suggested.smiley - smiley I should have asked whether it was first or second Jimmy that you liked most?

I agree Teri Hatcher attracted most attention with*that* photo, but I maintain that Margot Kidder was the best Lois in the 20th century (TH is too angular for my taste...)

It was the second Jimmy I liked most, especially when he turned into a computer genius smiley - coolsmiley - laugh

Ah yes – the televised adaptation of the musical show. I've not mentioned the cast from it in the text because:
a.) I've classed it as not substantially playing the characters. They did, true, but not visibly or long enough for their portrayal to count (this also applies to the cast of animated series, including Lego adaptations)
And more importantly:
b.) I've not seen it.

I haven't seen it either, but your explanation makes sense, given that Superman is credited last rather than first.

Lesley-Ann Warren would have made a distinctive Lois, though, if her performance in Victor Victoria is anything to go by smiley - laugh

I've seen her screen-test for Lois Lane on the Superman DVD's extras when she auditioned and Margot Kidder got the role - she would have been quite good. And she was very memorable in 'Clue'...
