I noticed this Entry when the recently-approved Entry on 'Adelaide, Australia' linked to it. It seems like a good, informative read to me, and the only style problem is occasional lapses into first person that the subs or Editors could easily fix.

The author hasn't posted for five weeks and mentions on their Personal Space that they have Internet access problems, so it's doubtful if they'll be back soon. But I doubt if they'd mind if this found its way into the Edited Guide!

I second the motion to have this article included. I notice that it maybe is a little parochial in a couple of places for an edited entry, but the subs can handle that too I think.

And the editors obviously agree! smiley - bubbly

Congratulations! This one is going into the Edited Guide.

From here it will join a queue waiting to go out to a Subeditor. When it is edited there, it will return for the in-house editors to give it a final polish and then it'll join the queue for the front page.

Unless it gets chosen for artwork - in which case it'll go into the art queue and when it gets a graphic, it'll rejoin the front page queue.

But regardless, this entry is well on its way to fame (sorry, no fortune to go along with the fame! smiley - winkeye )

Well done. This was a wonderful entry and a great bit of Scouting!

smiley - cheers

Well, thank you very much. I am glad that you liked my research. The only criticism (and I paraphrase) "that it lapsed towards the end" is appropriate for a peice on wine tasting. Everyone should be lapsing by the end if they enjoy themselves (even if they don't drink!).
