h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I want to join, but don't know why, cause it will all probably go horribly wrong if I do, most things do, I'me pretty synical, about most things, although I'me still not sure over synercism as a way of life, Oh well..

It's very easy to be cynical about things. All you really have to do is sit about looking grumpy. It's more challenging - and, in the long run, much more fun - to play a more positive role in the h2g2 community, and make this a place that's hard to be cynical about. You could pretend that the good people who work hard to bring us the Guide have a sinister ulterior motive and that the BBC is an evil empire; but I think you would soon get tired of such silliness. h2g2 is about being creative, making new friends, and building a community of people who are supportive of each other. It might seem cynical to think that you could be suspended or banned for trying to spoil things for other people by disrupting their conversations and posting nonsense; but that is exactly what might happen, because such behaviour is very childish and very few people would miss someone who is being a nuisance.

P.S. The whole idea of this guild is to have fun, I only really call it "the cynics" becuse it sounds nice.

That's fine. There's nothing wrong with having a bit of fun.

The problem is that some people might take what you have said about posting in forums whether or not you really have anything meaningful to contribute as spamming, which is against the House Rules and could end up getting someone into trouble. The other thing is that writing nonsense Entries is fine and dandy, as long as it doesn't involve wasting people's time in Peer Review. This is probably not what you intended, I know. But some might interpret things that way.

Perhaps you should reword the parts that seem to suggest disruptive behaviour so that people who may want to join are clear that you are not endorsing something that cold result in them being suspended from h2g2.
