I've updated my front page a bit, with these new-fangeld drop-down boxes. I'm thinking about a few other things, now, like what to include on the page, which guide entries to write, links and to what, the possibility of changing my user name...
I'm also thinking about starting a webpage off-site where I can do and say a lot more, but I don't know yet.
Probably more important, I'm worried about my addiction. I'm using the Net between 5 and 8 hours a day now, which isn't good. I've so many good books I want to read, but can't concentrate on them...
And my car will be back on Monday!

Hey Rob, you might remember me, we had a few chats in the 'old days'. I am also on your page in one of your drop-down boxes, I am a revolutionary too! Well you know that I am also very interested in globalisation, and what we can/should do about it. Now, it so happens that I and a couple of pals have already started an offsite web-page that I think would be a perfect forum for you, the UCB. You can find the link at the top of my userpage. We really need people there to tell us what's going on, and I think you do!
The resources on your page are helping me a lot, I'm checking out some of them right now.
Internet time: I can only afford about two hours a day on the internet, and I have determined that the maximum amount of time I can spend on the computer a day is about six hours. So I do a lot of stuff 'old-fashioned style' in between - reading, writing with pencil on paper, pondering...
Listen, please check out the offsite Cafébar, we have news, essays, discussion forums and a resource page (still small at the moment, but I'm working on it)! The site looks good and it works fast and smooth. You can use what language you want, you can and must post links and pictures (the pictures will show up even in forum entries) and there aren't any disclaimers or warnings or betrayal buttons!
Well thanks for all the stuff about globalisation, I hope I'll see you around!

Hey cool,
I will check it all out...
How've you been doing? Not suffering too badly from the vagaries of the mods, I hope?
(I was thinking, the Zaphodistas could also be called Rockers, as in the mods and the rockers...)
Rob.

Thanks for dropping by the Cafébar, be there regularly OK because it's gonna change fast! And contribute your views, please!
Actually I have been suffering intensely, I am probably the most-moderated person in here right now! Well, they don't actually admit to moderating the entries, they simply 'vanish' them with a message saying that maybe they might want to moderate it because maybe it's really really bad and naughty, but when they 'vanish' it, it's gone alright and it never gets looked at because by the time they either replace it or explain why they removed it the forum is long since past that point.
And why do you think they moderate me? For speaking non-English languages, that's why. I sometimes get away with it, because I translate everything into English, but sometimes the tactic doesn't work. It seems totally arbitrary. Well I will continue to push the envelope and continue to give them pointless tasks until they start to question the sanity of their policies.
Listen, thanks for the link recommendation, but I will check out all the links on your h2g2 page anyways, so you needn't mention any of those - it will help a lot if you mention some others; seeing as you're online so much you must know of a lot.
Okay then, thanks for your interest! Will you mind if I email you from time to time to discuss things like globalisation? I wanna write a piece for the Cafébar about it.
