Yosemite is still the same but Delaware North Corp. runs it with an eye on the bottom line more than the quality of experience for Yosemite's many visitors. This year DNC closed Badger Pass Ski area early even though we had very good snow levels. No more midweek ski packages for families. IMHO this is a travesty. In Coarsegold: Coarsegold Cafe has a new owner and fine home cookin, there's a patio with a fireplace on the north side towards Coarsegold Market.

Yosemite Gallery has retired, the building sold, it is now Inanna’s Art Gallery.
Gold Gulch Museum is relocating further North in the town of Coarsegold, take 41 North cross the Crick & turn in left at the Old Broken Bit. Gabby the statue has already moved there along with all the mining equipment. The new owner’s of the Broken Bit have provided a wonderful new place for the Gold Gulch Museum, complete with a real Hard Rock Gold-Quartz Mine, Creek side Gold Panning, the Chuckchansi Indian village is just up the knoll on the Stagecoach Road, you’ll pass Gold Gulch where ya might find the Hard Diggins Hotel. Thar will be trails going off to great adventures, Tent & and RV campsites right along Coarsegold Creek. All this is in progress during this year (2005). Have some patience and you will be able to schedule a family Adventure where you’re sure to get Gold and have a wonderful time. Keep watching for new developements posted here.
