I hereby cop to having corrected the spelling of 'Monongahela' in this entry. For some reason, this unconscionable typo has been in there for almost two decades, waiting for someone who has actually seen this river to notice the misspelling. 
Btw, 'Monongahela' means 'falling banks', which makes sense if you know the river, and also makes it silly to put car parks on the river bank, silly Pittsburghers...
