I use the word "mediaeval" a few times in this entry. It has been changed to mediæval with an a e ligature.

While this was an alternative spelling for this word in the past, it's not now the usual one and not what I wrote. Can you please change them back to "mediaeval"?

I believe that we should reserve the ae ligature for the Old English letter which is pronounced as the word "cat" as spoken in Received Pronunciation. This occurs in the Old English name Æthelred, for example.
