I've noticed recently that if I post something and then go to my space quickly, it is showing that I posted 3 minutes ago...
Is this something to do with the clock on my computer, or is it internal to h2g2?

It'll be a discrepancy between h2g2's front end server, and the database.
Or the APIs, they're weird.

It doesn't help that it's across several servers at the moment either.

This is a big problem in some industries (transport, finance, broadcasting for example), especially when the servers are distributed globally. You need to get your servers linked using things like NTP.

but..... time is an illusion.... lunchtime doubly so..... - just set up the database to display every 'post time' as "lunch time" sorted!

It went up to 5 minutes, but it's fixed now - the server wobble must have reset the clock

That is... far too simple an explination.... MY money, is on... Pastey having reset the fabric of space time, to fit in with h2g2 time; taht's why the server went down; we all jus...... stood still in time... whilst time was realigned to fit the hootoo servers and hamster-time 
only logical explicaiton...... I say logical.... well.... I use the word in its broadest.... or least correct, as some would say, meaning/sense....
