A Conversation for Technical Feedback

I am trying to unsubmit an article from one area (Peer Review) and resubmit it to others (The Post and/or The Underguide), but this appears to be impossible. When I click a link that says 'technical feedback', I expect to be taken to a form that allows me to send a quick mail to a technician to answer in the fullness of time. Instead, I get ANOTHER page explaining to me the same thing that I just read and asking me to start a conversation. Have parts of this site been written by an idiot, or by a technical genius who is deliberately trying to drive us mere writers mad? Please make this more user-friendly! Submit here, unsubmit here - that's it!

Hi RG. We're sorry you've had trouble with this. We are looking at simplifying our technical support pages in the months to come, so your feedback is much appreciated. If you could let us know which article you are trying to unsubmit then submit elsewhere (and where you want to submit it) we'll take a look.
Many thanks
