So this fellow goes own to the computer store and buys this h___ fired
new state of the art thing that can do anything except tie his shoes.
Anxious to mingle in the complex web of installers, enablers, files,
names, passwords, programs, games, resources, applications, systems,
and all the other stuff he is confronted with for the first time, he dives in and says yes to almost everything he is offered for free.
But soon he learns everything has it's price, and the price of his paranoia (about forgetting now his own name not to mention his password), and the overload of his brain and the computer's sensibilities, is his ignorance. He keeps being told that Rome wasn't built in a day; but he just worries about running out of gigabytes.
But tomorrow is another day, and he can always buy more memory to store all of that free stuff.
